A person commits the offense of failing to supervise a minor if the person is the parent, legal guardian or person with legal responsibility for the safety and welfare of a child under eighteen (18) years of age and the child violates a provision of this code, Oregon state law or regulation, federal law or rule.
Nothing in this section applies to a child caring agency as defined in Oregon Revised Statutes 418.205 or to foster parents. (Ord. 756, 6-1-2010)
