(a) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter or an order of the Fair Housing Board shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
(b) In addition to the criminal penalty set forth above, the Court may award civil damages and punitive damages of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), to any party aggrieved under this chapter. Such damages shall be sought by the aggrieved party in an appropriate civil action.
(c) Upon request the Court may also order such other relief as it deems necessary or appropriate which may include, but is not limited to, issuance of any permanent or temporary injunction, temporary restraining order or other order.
(d) Any person who shall fail to comply with a subpeona issued by the Fair Housing Board shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
(e) Any person who shall, with intent to mislead the Fair Housing Board, make or cause to be made any false entry or statement of fact in any report, account, or hearing shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
