The term of office of members of the Tree Maintenance Board shall be for a period of three years, except that for the first Board to be appointed, the terms of office shall be as follows:
The appointee of the Council shall be for a term of three years. The appointee of the Mayor shall be for a term of two years and the appointee selected by the two members, and to be confirmed by Council, shall have a term of one year. All subsequent appointments shall be for three-year terms, shall extend to the end of the unfulfilled term of the member who is replaced during term or shall be for three years for newly appointed or reappointed members.
