(a) The age provisions of Ohio R.C. 124.41 are hereby waived and suspended.
(b) Individuals between the ages of 21 and 35 years are to be considered eligible to take any Civil Service Test given and eligible for hiring by the City if meeting the normal qualification requirements for police officers.
(c) Individuals previously having been considered eligible for a Civil Service Appointment may tack previous years of service on police forces to retroactively set their age for hiring purposes. An individual having had previous police experience may increase the maximum age of employment by one (1) year for every full year of previous police service.
