901.09 TRAFFIC CONTROL.
   No person shall undertake any operation that has an effect upon vehicular or pedestrian traffic without first preparing and erecting a traffic control plan consistent with the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (OMUTCD). Whenever it is necessary to divert traffic from its normal channel into another channel, such diversion shall be clearly marked by signs, cones, drums, barricades or temporary guardrail. Whenever one-way traffic is established, at least two (2) flagmen shall be used equipped with the appropriate safety equipment such as stop/slow signs and radios. City Safety Services shall be notified in advance when vehicular traffic is to be impacted and the traffic control plan shall be approved by the City Engineer.
