6-1-1: PARKING INSIDE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS:
   A.   Restrictions: It shall be unlawful for any vehicle to be parked on or in any areas of the County Fairground property in violation of posted parking restrictions. It shall also be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle, or to own any vehicle, found to be parked in any area blocking an emergency exit, fire lane, or access point to a public parking area and/or public parking space.
   B.   Vehicle Removal:
      1.   The Sheriff is hereby authorized to remove and impound, or cause to be removed or impounded, any vehicle parked in violation of this Section.
      2.   The owner or operator of such vehicle may recover the same by paying the cost of its removal and impounding, together with any sum due by reason of a violation of this Section. Proof of such payment must be shown prior to release of the vehicle by the impounding agency.
   C.   Enforcement; Fines:
      1.   If any vehicle is found stopped, standing or parked in any manner, in violation of the provisions of this Section, and the identity of the operator cannot be determined, the owner, person, corporation or named lessee in whose name said vehicle is registered, shall be held prima facie responsible for said violation.
      2.   A violation of the provisions hereof is punishable by a fine of thirty five dollars ($35.00) to be paid by the owner, person, corporation, or named lessee in whose name the vehicle is registered. (Ord. 123, 5-4-1994)
