All drainage facilities and sewer lines broken or damaged during construction shall be restored as nearly as possible to their original state by the subdivider and at his/her expense, except that all field tiles shall be connected to the storm sewer system where necessary for protection of improvements or prevention of upstream flood damage. The storm sewer shall be designed to convey the additional flow from the field tile. This requirement may be waived by the City Engineer if the repair or connection would serve no useful purpose.
