(A) The City Engineer shall review all subdivision plats and plans to assure that proposals are consistent with the need to minimize or eliminate flood damage. Proposed locations of utilities such as sewer, gas, electric, and water shall be located so as to minimize or eliminate flood damage to utilities on a utilities plan.
(B) The subdivider shall take such steps as are necessary to minimize soil erosion during and after construction. The subdivider shall prepare an erosion control plan and file a notice of intent (NOI) with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) as required by National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System regulations. The subdivider shall be responsible for adhering to all Federal, State and local erosion control regulations.
