§ 122.04 USE OF TAX FUNDS BY CITY.
   The amounts collected by the city pursuant to this chapter shall be expended by the city solely to promote tourism and conventions within the city. No funds received pursuant to this chapter shall be used to advertise for or otherwise promote new competition in the hotel/motel business. Not less than 15% of the amounts collected shall be expended for the study, preparation, and implementation of a professionally prepared, community-based, comprehensive marketing strategy designed to attract visitors to the city.
