Any person may become an auctioneer, and be licensed to sell real and personal property at public auction in this city, upon payment into the City Treasury of $150 for a license for the first five consecutive days and $50 for each day thereafter, and by complying with the provisions of this chapter relative to the filing of an inventory and bond in the time and manner prescribed.
