It shall be the duty of the Chairman of the Board of Health to cause a notice, printed or written in large letters, to be placed upon or near any house in which any person may be affected or sick with any contagious, infectious, pestilential, epidemic, or communicable disease. The name of the disease, or such other notice as the Board of Health may deem necessary shall be written or printed upon the notice. No person or persons shall deface, alter, mutilate, destroy, or tear down the notice without permission from the Chairman of the Board of Health.
