(A) The Plan Commission shall consist of seven members. These members shall be seven citizens of the city appointed by the Mayor, subject to approval by the City Council, on the basis of their particular fitness for duty on the Plan Commission. At least five of the members shall reside within the corporate limits of the city; not more than two of the members may reside no further than 1-1/2 miles outside the corporate limits. (B) Of the seven appointed citizen members, two shall serve for one year, two for two years, one for three years, one for four years and one for five years. Thereafter, appointed citizen members shall serve for a period of five years. (‘69 Code, § 2-205)
(C) Vacancies on the Plan Commission shall be filled by appointments for unexpired terms only. (‘69 Code, § 2-205)
