§ 32.05 DUTIES OF ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR.
   (A)   The Electrical Inspector shall decide all questions not otherwise provided for pertaining to the installation of electrical apparatus, wires, fixtures, devices, appliances, and attachments and shall have the power and authority to make and enforce such rules and regulations of a partial and technical nature in connection therewith as he deems necessary and desirable and make all electrical installations and work of an optimal degree of safety to life and property.    (B)   The Electrical Inspector is authorized to inspect or cause to be inspected or reinspected all work in or on any building in the city previous to or on completion of the work, and require that all such work be performed in the manner specified. When such work is found to be in any manner faulty or defective or in any other manner deemed to be unsafe to life or property, the Electrical Inspector shall have authority to require the person doing the work or owning, operating, or using the same, to place the work in safe and secure condition, and in compliance with the provisions contained in the Electrical Code.    (C)   The Electrical Inspector shall also have the authority upon inspection or reinspection to condemn all work which may be in use which may be unsafe or hazardous to life or property. On condemnation of such work he shall serve notice upon the person owning, using, or installing the work to place it in a secure and safe condition and in compliance with the provisions of the electrical code; provided, upon condemnation by the Electrical Inspector, the person owning, using or installing the work shall have the right to appeal from the decision of the Electrical Inspector to the Electrical Commission. The decision of the Commission shall be final. (‘69 Code, § 8-10)
   (D)   It shall be the duty of the Electrical Inspector to keep or cause to be kept, a full and complete record of his department’s business, and to have such records concise and definite in form. (‘69 Code, § 8-8)
