§ 31.75 SUPERINTENDENT OF WATER POLLUTION CONTROL.
   There is created the office of Superintendent of Water Pollution Control of the city. At the first regular meeting of the City Council after the election of the Mayor, or as soon thereafter as is possible, the Mayor shall appoint, subject to the approval of the City Council, a Superintendent of Water Pollution Control. He shall hold his office for the term of office of the Mayor making the appointment and his term shall expire as soon after the end of the appointing Mayor’s term as his successor is appointed and qualified.
