The salary of the Superintendent of Parks shall be as determined by the City Council and shall be payable weekly while the Superintendent is employed by the city. The Superintendent shall be on duty Monday through Saturday noon and, if directed, at other times. For work performed at any time other than Monday through Saturday noon of any week, the Superintendent shall be compensated at one and one-half times his regular salary, prorated for any overtime devoted to the duties assigned to him.
