(A) The Superintendent of Parks shall be the custodian of city parks and shall keep the grass well mowed, cultivate the shrubbery and keep it neatly trimmed, and protect and care for the trees growing in the parks.
(B) The Superintendent of Parks shall keep and maintain all playground equipment and all recreational facilities and equipment and perform such other duties as the City Council may from time to time designate.
