(A) (1) Any person that violates any provision of this chapter shall be deemed responsible for a municipal civil infraction and fined in accordance with the following schedule:

(2) Additionally, the violator shall pay costs which may include all expenses, direct and indirect, to which the township has been put in connection with the municipal civil infraction. In no case, however, shall costs of neither less than $9 nor more than $500 be ordered. In addition, the township shall have the right to proceed in any court of competent jurisdiction for the purpose of obtaining an injunction, restraining order or other appropriate remedy to compel compliance with this chapter. Each day that a violation of this chapter continues to exist shall constitute a separate violation of this chapter.
(B) An individual who uses, ignites or discharges consumer fireworks or low impact fireworks while under the influence of alcoholic liquor, a controlled substance or a combination of alcoholic liquor and a controlled substance is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by up to 30 days in jail and/or a fine up to $500, or if the violation caused damage to the property of another person, by up to 90 days in jail and/or a fine up to $500.
