Within the floodplain overlay zone, the following uses shall be permitted where the symbol “P” appears and shall be permitted, subject to the granting of a conditional use permit where the symbol “C” appears.
(A) Agricultural uses.

Agricultural uses wherein a building or structure is proposed within a floodplain | C |
Farms or ranches for orchards, field crops, tree crops, truck gardening, berry and bush crops, flower gardening and the growing of nursery plants | P |

Raising of horses, sheep, goats or cattle; provided that, no animal shall be kept on a site of less than 1 acre and no more than 2 such animals may be kept for each acre of land | P |
(B) Other uses.
Dredging and filling, subject to the approval of the County Engineer on federal designated waterways, such operations also shall be subject to the approval of the Army Corps of Engineers | P |
Flood control facilities (subject to the conditions as outlined in § 13.6-3(E)) | P |

All other uses permitted in the underlying zone with which the FPM Zone is combined, except that single-family residences in the G, AR, RR and RS Zones shall be permitted, subject to compliance with these regulations | C |
