(a) The village is responsible for providing programming and administrative guidance in all areas related to parks and recreation throughout the community.
(b) The village considers citizen participation and public involvement to be an important element of local governance.
(c) The village considers youth involvement to be of great importance to the long term success and sustainability of the village community.
(d) Two additional members shall be added to the Village Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee:
(1) Citizen at-large; and
(2) Youth representative (any resident of the Village School District under the age of 19 years old) to serve terms of two years upon appointment by the Village Board of Trustees at the annual organizational meeting.
