(a) The grantee shall extend basic CATV service to any isolated residence outside the initial service territory at the standard installation charge if:
(1) The resident requests the service extension; and
(2) The service connection to the isolated residence would require no more than a 250-foot underground trench from an existing trunk cable. The grantee shall extend basic CATV service to any isolated residence requiring more than a 250, but not to exceed 600, foot aerial dropline or underground trench from an existing trunk cable at a premium charge. The premium installation charge shall be the standard charge plus the actual cost to the grantee for the distance in excess of 250 feet. The grantee may require advance payment of the premium installation charge.
(b) The grantee shall replace existing aerial facilities with underground facilities concurrently and in cooperation with similar programs undertaken with respect to telephone and power utilities. When undergrounding is required, the grantee shall have the option of sharing or not sharing utility trenches.
