§ 9-1-25 TEMPORARY METERED SUPPLY, METER, AND DEPOSITS.
   (a)   Deposit; charges. An applicant for temporary water supply on a metered basis shall make and maintain a monetary deposit for each meter, installed as security for payment for use of water and for such other charges which may arise from the use of the supply. A charge shall be made for setting the valve, and furnishing and setting the meter. (See Schedule D-1 for applicable rate in § 9-1-12.)
   (b)   Plumbers.
      (1)   State license required. No plumber, pipe fitter, or other person will be permitted to do any plumbing or pipe fitting work in connection with the water system without first receiving a license from the state.
      (2)   Tap permits. After water connections have been introduced into any building or upon any premises, no plumber shall make any alterations, extensions, or attachments, unless the party ordering such tapping or other work shall exhibit the proper permit for the same from the Village Administrator, Clerk, and highest elected official, as appropriate.
