(a) Election, term, number. The village shall have six Trustees in addition to the President, who is a Trustee by virtue of his or her office as President. The six Trustees shall constitute the Village Board. Three Trustees shall be elected at each annual spring election for a term of two years, commencing on the third Tuesday of April in the year of their election.
(b) Appointment as President. A Village Trustee shall be eligible for appointment as Village President to fill an unexpired term.
