§ 2-1-1 VILLAGE GOVERNMENT.
   The village is a body corporate and politic with the powers of a municipality at common law and governed by the provisions of Wis. Stats. Chapters 61 and 66, laws amending those chapters, other acts of the legislature and the Constitution of the state.
