The purpose of this chapter is to establish procedures for processing hazardous waste management facilities, to establish location criteria for these types of facilities, to insure that these types of facilities do not have an adverse impact on the public health, safety or welfare, and to regulate the design and maintenance of these types of facilities through development standards and conditions.
