3-6-3: CHIEF; ELECTION:

Said fire company shall elect from their own number a chief, whose authority in case of fire or in case of practice shall be supreme, and it shall be the duty of the fire chief to place all members of the fire company in such positions as he may deem fit for the effectual workings of said fire company. (Ord. 78, 4-9-1912)
