2-9-5: PERMITS, FEES REQUIRED:
Any person placing a mobile home or manufactured home must first obtain a placement permit from the city clerk and pay all applicable fees, including sewer and water connection fees, if applicable. No used mobile home shall be occupied until a life safety inspection has been conducted and modifications may be required to bring the home up to current life safety standards and to ensure that the electrical system is adequate and safe. Permits for electrical and plumbing connections must be obtained from the state. When all fees have been paid, inspections completed and necessary corrections made, an occupancy certificate will be issued. It shall be unlawful to occupy a home without an occupancy certificate. Fees may be adopted by the city council from time to time by resolution. (Ord. 320, 10-14-1996)
