Singlewide mobile homes and manufactured homes less than twenty two feet (22') wide may be placed on individual residential lots upon a showing that the owner will comply with the standards set forth in section 2-9-2 of this chapter, and upon the issuance of a special use permit by the city council prior to placement. To obtain such permit, the applicant must show that such placement will conform to the character of the surrounding neighborhood, and will not have a negative impact on property values. The city council may attach reasonable conditions to ensure that such home is safe and compatible with housing in the neighborhood. (Ord. 320, 10-14-1996)
