2-9-2: PLACEMENT ON INDIVIDUAL RESIDENTIAL LOTS:
Manufactured housing and mobile homes which are multisectional and at least one thousand (1,000) square feet in size may be placed on individual residential lots if the following:
   A.   Must be placed on an excavated and backfilled foundation, and enclosed at the perimeter such that the home is located not more than twelve inches (12") above grade;
   B.   Must have certification by the U.S. department of housing and urban development;
   C.   Must comply with the manufacturer set up specifications, and all laws applicable to setup (the most stringent requirement will apply);
   D.   Must have a pitched roof of at least nominal three feet (3') in height to each twelve feet (12') of width, which is an integral part of the home;
   E.   If more than five (5) years old, must have a special use permit issued by the city council prior to placement. To obtain such permit, applicant must demonstrate that the home to be placed meets current life safety and fire code standards, is in good condition, and has not been altered in a fashion which would compromise its safety. The city council may attach reasonable conditions to ensure that such home is safe and compatible with housing in the neighborhood;
   F.   Must meet all other site requirements applicable to constructed housing. (Ord. 320, 10-14-1996)
