ORDINANCE #2022-002
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TROY, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO; AMENDING ORDINANCE #2020-04 PERTAINING TO BUILDING CODES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
 
WHEREAS, building code fees and valuations must change, as per the building services contract with the County, to match modified Latah County fees and valuations; and
 
WHEREAS, this Ordinance is adopted under authority of Idaho Code Title 39 Chapter 41, Idaho Code 31-714 and applicable provisions of the Constitution of Idaho and statutes of the State of Idaho; and
 
WHEREAS, all notification and hearing requirements have been fully complied with;
 
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Troy, Idaho:
 
SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE #2020-04
 
That City of Troy Ordinance #*****, SECTION 7-1-9: FEES be deleted and replaced as follows:

All valuations are as published in the February issue of the ICC Building Safety Journal , with the following additions and modifications:

SECTION 9. SEVERABILITY. If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, or phrase of this Ordinance should be declared invalid for any reason whatsoever, such decision shall not affect the remaining portions of this Ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect; and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared to be severable.
 
SECTION 10. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication according to law.
