The words and terms used, defined, interpreted or further described in this title, shall be construed as follows:
The word "shall" is mandatory; the word "may" is permissive; and the word "should" is preferred. The masculine shall include the feminine.
Words used in the singular number include the plural, and words used in the plural number include the singular, unless the context clearly indicates the contrary.
The word "building" includes the word "structure".
The word "lot" includes the words "plot", "parcel" and "tract". (Ord. 2001-04, 8-27-2001)
