(A) The City Clerk shall receive as his or her compensation for the performance of his or her duties the amount of $7,500 annually for the 12-month period beginning May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2022. Thereafter, the compensation paid to the City Clerk for the performance of his or her duties shall remain the same, without any annual increments, for the periods: of May 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023; May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024; and May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025. The City Clerk's salary shall be paid to the City Clerk in 12 equal monthly installments.
