(A) The owner or owners of property on which any work is done on any plumbing system shall provide documentation to the City Building and Zoning Department that the work conforms to the requirements of the Illinois Plumbing Code.
(B) The documentation may be accomplished by either:
(1) Certification by the City Plumbing Inspector; or
(2) Notarized certificate of compliance to Illinois Plumbing Code by a state certified plumber.
