§ 116.035 PROHIBITION ON CITY OFFICIALS HOLDING LICENSE.
   (A)   No license required by this subchapter shall be issued to any law enforcing public official, including members of liquor control commissions, any mayor, alderman, or member of the City Council or commission, any president of a village board of trustees, any member of a village board of trustees, or any member of a county board; except that a person who is disqualified by service in one of these proscribed provisions for a jurisdiction other than the city, may have a waiver granted by the State Liquor Control Commission.
   (B)   No person who is proscribed in division (A) above shall be interested in any way, either directly or indirectly, in the manufacture, sale or distribution of alcoholic liquor.
