§ 92.041 DUTY TO BARRICADE.
   (A)   Any person laying or repairing any pavement on a street, sidewalk or other public place or making an excavation in the same shall maintain suitable barricades and lights to prevent injury to any person or vehicle by reason of the work.
   (B)   Any defect in pavement shall be barricaded and any person maintaining any opening or excavation shall barricade and light the opening or excavation as long as it remains open or, in the case of a defect in the pavement, as long as the defect exists.
