§ 30.09 PARTICIPATION IN ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND.
   The city hereby elects to participate in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, effective January 1, 1989. The standard for the state municipal retirement participation shall be a position normally requiring performance of duty for 1,000 hours per year.
