§ 52.079 METERS DAMAGED BY CONSUMER.

Whenever a water meter is found to have been damaged by hot water being forced back into it from the consumer’s hot water or heating apparatus, or for any other cause within the control of the consumer, the consumer shall pay the city for the actual cost of the removal, repair and replacement of the damaged meter.
