§ 52.077 SEPARATE METERS REQUIRED; EXCEPTION.
   (A)   No person shall connect any water pipe or conduct water supplied by the city into two or more distinct premises unless separate and distinct water meters and service stop cocks are provided for each premises.
   (B)   For the purposes of division (A) of this section, a DISTINCT PREMISES shall be considered as one which is a complete living unit or a complete business unit.
   (C)   Common water meters for commercial complexes with more than one business or unit are not permitted.
   (D)   Water lines tapped to city mains are not permitted on private property before being connected to a meter.
