(A) All public fire hydrants with gate valves, tees and connections from the main, inside the city limits, shall be owned, maintained and used only by the city, which shall be solely responsible for the same.
(B) The city shall not be held liable and will not assume any responsibility for the condition of any fire hydrant or the pressure or amount of water obtainable therefrom, or for any damage as a direct result because of the condition, pressure or amount of water available at any fire hydrant.
(C) All public fire hydrants outside of the city limits will be maintained in as good order as reasonably possible, but the city will not undertake or assume any responsibility or liability for their condition, use or abuse.
(D) Public fire hydrants shall be used only for the purpose of extinguishing fires except when the city issues a special permit for other use.
