§ 52.003 NOTICE AND HEARING FOR VIOLATIONS.
   (A)   If any violation of this subchapter shall occur, the city shall give the violator seven-days’ notice of the termination of the water supply and the disconnection from the water system. If the violator is the owner of a subdivision and other homes are being served therein by the city, all residents therein shall likewise receive a seven-day notice of the termination of the water supply and the disconnection from the water system. The notice may be sent by certified mail.
   (B)   Within the seven-day period set forth in division (A) of this section, the violator and residents within the subdivision, if any, may request a hearing with the City Council, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to set a date for the hearing within 15 days from the date of notice referred to in division (A) of this section. The notice of hearing shall be given by certified mail to all persons interested, including the members of the City Council. The termination by the City Council shall be final, and the decision of the City Council shall be forwarded to all interested persons within five days after the date of the hearing.
