No registration shall be issued by the city unless the roofing contractor is properly licensed through the State of Illinois. The roofing contractor is required to provide its State of Illinois License Number to the city. All roofing contractors must register in person with the Building and Zoning Department and possess a valid photo identification. All roofing contractors must have the names of their company properly identified on all of their vehicles. Any advertisement or contract must contain the roofing contractor's state roofing license number. Registrations are good for one year and must be renewed annually with the Building and Zoning Department.
