No registration shall be issued to any roofing contractor unless a certificate or other proof is filed with the Building and Zoning Department evidencing that the roofing contractor carries valid statutory Illinois worker's compensation insurance, as well as general liability insurance with limits of at least $500,000 (property damage) and $500,000 (per person)/ $1,000,000 (aggregate) for accident and/or bodily injury liability.
