§ 35.035 OFFICE OF CHIEF OF POLICE CREATED.
   There is hereby established the office of Chief of Police, who shall be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the consent of the City Council.
   (B)   The Chief of Police must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and have at least five years of full-time service as a police officer.
   (C)   The compensation for the office of the Chief of Police shall be established from time to time by the Mayor and City Council.
