For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CUSTOMER. A person in whose name a water connection is made and to whom a bill is issued, whether such connection is inside or outside the corporate limits of the town.
PERSON. Any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company, limited liability company, professional association, or organization of any kind. PERSON shall also include customers.
TOWN. The Town of Troutman, North Carolina.
WATER. Raw or treated water from the town’s public water supply system.
