The town will maintain a confidential credit history on all customers based upon payment of utility bills. A customer’s credit history will be classified as “good” unless the customer has appeared twice during any preceding 12 months. If the customer has appeared twice on the cut-off list during any preceding 12-month period, a credit history of “not good” shall be recorded. The cut-off list will be prepared each month by the town for customers who fail to pay utility accounts by the final payment date.
