SEC. 5.6. FINANCE OFFICER.

The Town Manager shall appoint a Finance Officer and may appoint a Deputy Finance Officer to perform the duties of the Finance Officer as required by the Local Government Budget and Fiscal Control Act, being G.S. §§ 159-1 et seq. and to perform other duties as the Town Council may direct.
