No primary election shall be held for the nomination of candidates for the office of Mayor, Council Member, or Council Member at-large. All candidates shall be nominated by petition only. A petition signed by not less than fifty (50) electors of the Municipality shall be required to nominate candidates for the position of Council Member at-large. A petition signed by not less than fifty (50) electors of a given district shall be required to nominate for the position of Council Member for that district. A petition signed by not less than fifty (50) electors of the Municipality shall be required to nominate for the position of Mayor. (Amended 11/03/1998)
