§ 32.053 CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL.
    The general policies and procedures of the Police Department, and all revisions, modifications and amendments thereto, shall be approved by the City Council, in its discretion, and no policies, procedures, revisions, modifications or amendments shall be in effect except as approved by the City Council. The policies, procedures, rules and regulations as are approved by the City Council shall be and remain in effect until thereafter repealed, modified or amended, and all, or any part of the policies, procedures, rules, regulations, revisions, modifications and amendments may be repealed, deleted, modified or amended, at any time by the City Council, acting in its discretion.
