§ 32.043 OATH; SURETY BOND.
   The Chief of Police and all members of the Police Department shall take and subscribe to the official oath prescribed by the Constitution of the state and shall give surety bond for faithful performance of duties, payable to the city in the sum of $1,000, premium for which shall be paid by the city.
