It shall be unlawful for any person to hold a continuous sale without first obtaining a permit for the sale or to violate any of the restrictions on the sale specified herein. It shall be further unlawful for any person to hold sidewalk sale or conduct outdoor sales in the commercial districts of the city, except as exempted from the prohibition. Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine not to exceed $500. Each day in violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed a separate offense.
