An enterprise or business operating within the city on the effective date of this chapter, that conducts one or more of the activities and work set forth in § 111.01, and that is required to obtain a license pursuant to the requirements of this chapter, shall have a period of nine months from the effective date of this chapter to file a permit application, obtain the required license, and complete the installation of the fences and screens required to comply with § 111.03.
